Had a meeting with DS1s school yesterday - he is down to 1 50 min lesson a week plus PE. Since yr 4 he has been failing and this year (yr 6) attendance is probably below 10%.

SENCO at end of meeting "Well we hope DS1 has a positive end to the school year and leaves with good memories" (noting that he has drawn pictures of killing himself whilst in school and is signed off on anti-anxiety meds)!!

DH response "Be under no illusion that he will have good memories. If it was positive for him he would be in school."

Lots of looking at the floor and shuffling papers by the staff! What a load of bullshit if they have any thoughts he will look back on it as a good experience!!! Delusional!
