ASDF will no longer be doing a monthly newsletter due to lack of interest from members.

Instead it will post newsletter of important happenings with the forum and also one-off newsletters throughout the year when enough stories have been submitted.

If you have anything you would like to share with the forum such as an event you are hosting a success story please PM me and I will arrange for this to go in the next issue of the newsletter.

If members show an interest and are willing to contribute to the newsletter there is no reason why we cannot bring it back but by the middle to end of last year it became something that I was writing solo every month (or every few months) and there is only so much people want to hear from me! Its really nice and works much better when members make the contributions rather than the editor writing it all.

I've been on this forum for a year and a half and had no idea there was a newsletter. A shame cos I would have enjoyed it. Is there something that could be done to help people know it was there?

what sort of contributions are you looking for?

How about doing one when you have enough content, and perhaps a special bulletin if there is a time limited piece, but not much else? Like so many others I am really pressed for time at the mo, and really shouldn't be spending as much mooching around here as I am. Will try to get something to you, but can make no promises.

Been looking around for something to contribute for a few days now, and am struggling, this sounded easy, but when it comes to the crunch......
