My name is Alfred Loveland and I'm currently working on my MSc dissertation

at the University of Surrey.

My research question is, "how, if at all, does
the particular educational context (mainstream, mainstream with unit, and
special setting) impact on the way young people with ASD make sense of their
school experiences, themselves, and their peers?”

I'm needing to briefly interview about 10 individuals (16+) and I was
wondering if you might be willing and able to help? Studies suggest that
parents, carers, and school personnel know very little about the topic I'm
covering so your help would go a long way in helping to understand the
impact of mainstreaming form a pupil's point of view.

The interview can be conducted over phone, Skype, FaceTime, or in person (takes 20-30 min). Contact Alfred Loveland at al00358@surrey.ac.uk for a detailed Information Sheet and Parent Consent Form and to have any questions answered.

I look forward to hearing from you and thank you.
