1. Learn to drive!

2. Go on honeymoon with DH... We have been married 7 years in June and hoping to have a few days in New York together as we've never had a honeymoon.

3. Get the house fully decorated. This has been my goal for the last 5 years since moving in, lol.

4. Get financially setted.

5. Get to a nice weight and a size 12.

*EDIT* Oh DUH! Well those are my 2012 goals. I should read the titles properly! lol

1. To finish my MA and get a distinction for it (had better do a bit of graft on that today Posted Image )
2. To revamp the bathroom into a wet room to help Little Nutter with some independence.
3. Complete my new novel.
4. To spend less time procrastinating and more time doing things!
5. To cut back massively on commitments other than my full-time job. Less exam work and consultancy for a start!

1. I've had to postpone one module until 2012, so I'm ALMOST there. If pressures don't get any worse I'll get it done then. Getting a distinction so far, and am touching wood that I get enough sleep to manage that through to the end of the course!

2. Bathroom completed last week. It's fabulous! Little Nutter loves it and (for the first time ever) we're not combat bathing!

3. That's tied in with the MA, so has had to be deferred.

4. Been busy. Got lots done. Less procrastination, and the addition of some nice apathy on Sat mornings ;)

5. Done that.

Tied in with number 5, I've been doing some intensive physio this year, which has got my ME back under control (mostly) and has had the lovely bonus that I've lost *cough* stones in weight and over 3 dress sizes. I call that a result for 2011 :D

Didnt set any 2011 goals but my year hasnt been too bad, I cannot complain too much. I'm going to list some achievements and if you didnt set goals but have achieved things then join me in noting them down.

Still working and have committed to it well, thank god they are an amazing company and support me so well.

Lost weight but I fear it might be creeping back on 2012 diet I think!

Made friends and good friend. Internet and real life.

Worked through problems well with good support and friends.

I have a tidy living room!

Have found new ways to do things to increase my independence.

Have been to a night club, a concert, on holiday, horse riding, the beach.

Have accepted I have Autism and that I can have a good life it might just be a bit different from that of the majority of the population.

Smiled lots. Cried lots too but the smiles overpower the tears.

I've been thinking long and hard about my 5 things I need to succeed in 2011 and have made a few decisions.

1. To successfully give up smoking and to stop forever!
2. To take on our local SS. :starwars: I want to make them more acceptable towards helping families with asperger dx's.
3. To campaign for YoungCarers to stay functioning. They're losing their funding and have already had to lay off half of their staff!!!! They play a huge fundamental role giving support to the NTs siblings and by god do they need all the support they can get, especially teenagers and those approaching their GCSEs.
4. To sort M's future education out.
5. Arrange a family holiday, our first in 6yrs. :sofa:

:praying: any help will be met with full gratitude.

the results
no.1 - Posted Image GP actually advised maybe its not such a good idea and maybe we could think about it again in the future!
no.2 - some success Posted Image
no.3 - well, they're still going, so some success there...they're just working for Barnado's now.
no.4 - well he started college and hes still going! 4 distinctions so far! Posted Image still isn't communicating to anyone though and still needs full time support & encouragement (still needs to be reminded to go to the loo, no awareness of any dangers, etc).
no.5 - Posted Image got no chance :( theres no way J is gonna sleep anywhere out of his bedroom :( neither's M tbh.

i would LOVE a holiday :( 7yrs now & counting. Posted Image

well so far
1. dd is very happy in college and has had a pt job.

3. I did actually lose 1.5 stone!!
4. still in same house with same awful neighbours

well I managed 1. and 2.

3. Still not decorated and got the most awful orange lounge, but the plasterer is booked for 16th January :yahoo:

4. I think I may have managed this once or twice... I just don't want to wake up so early.

5. No joy with this one yet, I think we'll just wait until she is ready.

For 2012:

1. Learn to swim

2. Loose weight (linked to no1)

3. Sort out DS1's statement again!

4. Get through assessments for DD & DS2 and sort out whether DD needs statement before she starts SS in Sept.

5. Get through both essays and lecture periods so that I can continue MA.

I don't think these are in order of priority or at least I hope not.

Hoping that the year works out for everyone :)
