If you are struggling to log in to the new board location it could be because of the cookie the site installs on your computer to log you in automatically every time you return: it will be blocking the access because of the discrepancy in board addresses.

There are two ways to clear this:
1. Clear the cache on your browser. This has the disadvantage of removing all your saved passwords.
2. Pretend you have forgotten your password. Click on the "lost password" link when logging in to ASDf, follow the instructions, reset your password, log back in and tell the website to 'remember' you. This installs a new cookie on your computer.

If that doesn't work, get back to me.

I did option two and I have had no problems although I'll never remember my new password so I've got it saved elsewhere too.

When I had to get a new password, somone explained how to change it to one I could remember.

I think it is in the settings bit.(click on your name in the top right hand corner of the screen, then go to settings ?)

Got a new password, cleared history and encountered 2 problems.

The first the log in screen is a bit messed up, you cannot see or click the submit button

And even after that I cannot get in to chat via Chrome I get this;

I found that I could not log in, using the log in buttons on the main pages. But if I went into view new content, where it brings up an error message stating I do not have permission to view, just underneath that message is the option to log in from there, and it worked, It may work for others who are having problems.

We've tried a fix. Can you let us know how things are now, please? This is urgent as we really need to get things stable today if we can.

I'm having problems just logging into the site.
When I click on "Sign in" at the top of the screen, nothing happens. I have to enter someone's post and try to reply to get the "you are not signed in- sign in now" message options. Then I can go through that to log in.
Is this just me or do others have this problem?

I still cant use chat via Google Chrome and I have had this problem for about 3 months now.

I did a bit of Googling and came up with loads of threads on forums about this problem including this one;

http://community.inv...-the-chat-room/

I can get in via IE and FireFox but in general I dont use either of them but I dont find them user friendly.
