Lucy heard today that she is in the top set for maths out of 9.....yikes! Maths isn't really her thing to be honest but she must have done well in the CATs test I suppose. Mind you there will be less chance of disruption in top set so that's a positive too.

Was so pleased with Sam last Friday. He took part in his first class assembly at school. Only taken till year 3!! (He's never really been able to tolerate being in the hall when the whole school is in there.) So I turned up for the first time to watch too. Had 1 slightly breath holding moment when he decided to just wander about the 'stage' then he spotted me and came over so I got him to sit down. They got him back on track though and he only started to get a little upset right at the very end. So proud of him and looking forward to the next one!

For some reason he seems to be doing really well in year 3, just hope whatever it is that's got him making progress keeps going!
