LE hurt his big toe over the weekend and can't get his school shoe on.

He is point blank refusing to go to A&E and to be honest he doesn't really need too. It will cause far more anxiety and upset for him to go and sit there for hours on end for no good reason.

I have telephoned GP to see if they have one and they don't. Just telephoned hospital and they will not give them out (I said I would pay for it) unless they assess him first! Very helpful!

I can see them on Amazon but they won't get here on time.

Does anybody know where I can pick one up?

Many thanks.

Maybe a big pharmacy. Or see if you have a medical supplies store or nursing supplies store or even a disability store near by.
It might be easier (and cheaper) to buy some cheap, loose fitting trainers (like a size bigger).

Thanks Mozzy, that's what dh is thinking of doing if we can't find any surgical ones.

Tried Boots (they are flaming well useless) and they didn't have anything.
