T still isn't in education and a place has finally come up starting in April. Had a meeting with the social worker today after they had had a professionals meeting.....outcome is that future focus & the LEA want to look at placements closer to home & even mainstream college because T wants access to the internet unsupervised.

he has an addiction to the internet and porn, the placement in April will deal with that side of things. A forensic psych  assessment said a 52 week residential placement was needed for him because of his vulnerability. This has been going on since December 2016 and it just feels like we are back to square 1 :JM:  :JM:  :cry  :cry

That is so frustrating, and completely wrong. It sounds as if the LEA are not considering his needs at all. I don’t know much about how things work in England, but really hope there is an answer to help get the placement you have found.

You may want to look at getting legal advice.  We had support from a solicitor who threatened Judicial review for non provision of education when our eldest son was out of school and offered a maximum of 5 hours tuition.  Try SOS SEN or PM me if you want more specific info.
