BATHTIME BRILLIANCE!

Not only did Little Nutter let me wash his hair - with shampoo!
Not only did he let me rinse it all out, and call me "Daddy" when we made eye contact at the time!
Not only did he say "Bye-bye, splash!" when it was time to get out of the bath!
Not only did he point to his eyes, ears, nose and mouth AND NAME THEM! CORRECTLY!

But he also asked for a drink by saying, "Juice," and making the Deaf-Sign for 'thank you.'

Today, words and co-operation.
Tomorrow, a PhD in general cleverness!

It's been a good week in our house!

DS allowed me to cut his hair for the first time ever without screaming the place down. In fact he sat in the chair chatting away and even told me it tickled at one point. He got slightly grouchy towards the end as he was fed up of sitting still but this is a major achievement for him :excellent .

He got his 25 metre swimming badge!! :applaud

And one morning he sat "nicely" at the table to eat his breakfast and then asked politely if he could please get down from the table - Hubbie and I fell over in shock!!

I agree, our kids are all brilliant (esp mine at the moment, Dale and Rachel are in the same room and not killing each other :applaud )
Dale managed to get Pupil of the month for September and I was so proud of him. His teacher wrote on his page that he got it for trying so hard and doing good work and making them all laugh  .
About 5 years ago Dale became obsessed with farting!!!! The specialist said it was a phase and he would grow out of it. WRONG !!!!!!!!!!! He is worse than ever but it is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo funny all we can do is laugh with him. He is the only child I know that a doctor has written this about in his medical notes..........'the child has an overly, unhealthy obsession with his bodily functions....' :confused
Oh well, must go get some air freshner ;)

Hi

Just wanted the whole world to know that Louie-lou urinated on the toilet. He's never done this before but was put on a trainer seat each time his nappy was changed.

One day he just decided to go for it, i'm chuffed to bits. I know that only other parents like us could understand why i'm makeing such a big fuss, and to be honest i don't care nothing could spoil my good mood. :D :D :D :D

Hi

I'm in a great mood Louie-lou wore underpants for the first time today, he spent the whole day at school in them being taken to the toilet every three quaters of an hour. The brilliant bit is he didn't have one accident all day. :excellent :excellent

The only pair of pants he got wet are the ones he slid down the slide on before they had a chance to dry it.

The only thing is he refuses to sit on the toilet but is willing to use a commode, so I'm going to have to try to get my hands on one, but considering he has never worn underpants before I think he's a star :angel :angel
