Just got our decision letter. enhanced daily living and enhanced mobility. DLA was middle rate care, and lower rate mobility. I know he's the same , but it's a reality check as to how disabling his ASD is; I'm more used to people thinking he is more able than I do.

For us the whole process was stress free. So much else was going on that I didn't complete the initial forms so had the home visit which was very efficient as we had someone who was knowledgeable about ASD. She was very focused, and willing to listen.

How long did your application take from start to finish ?

5 days notice of the interview ( at home at their request, but suited us) and less than a month to get the decision. Painless in comparison to DLA applications.

That sounds really quick and efficient IP.
In this area it seems new applications are taking about 10 months before they are being looked at.
