Well, we are going for a chicken casserole, which includes porridge oats and scotch as ingredients, except I will use brandy rather than scotch.

Our supermarket had an offer on sparkling wines this week so we have a bottle of Asti and one of Cava to wash it down with (hic! :D. )

We had tomato pasta bake with meatballs last night. I had to cover the whole thing in grated cheddar for Matt to even look at it.

You're all so organised! I'll open the cupboards in a bit and see if we've got anything.

I have a marrow, foisted on me by a friend who has a glut. So tonight I will be stuffing it with a lentilly, leftovery, tomatoey sauce.

Its 70s retro for us today. Prawn cocktail, then steak, chips, onion rings, and salad.
Not sure what's for pud but I'm sure I bought some Haggen Dazs yesterday, so that, if it hasn't been scoffed by the elfs!

It's a North/South thing. Where I come from (dahn sarf) the white ones are turnips and the orange ones swedes. Where Mr BK comes from (County Durham) the orange ones are turnips and the white ones are cattle fodder.
